Travel Nurse Job Details
- Location: Boston, MA 02215 (Massachusetts nursing jobs)
- Healthcare Setting: Cardiac Care Unit (CCU) / Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)
- Contract Type: Travel Registered Nurse
- Start Date: November 24, 2025
- End Date: February 21, 2026
- Assignment Length: 13-week contract
- Hours per Week: 36 (guaranteed 72 hours biweekly)
- Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (days/nights discussed during interview)
- Orientation: Weekly, every Monday (excluding holidays)
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2470 - $2540
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts RN license (required at time of submission)
- Minimum 1 year of recent CVICU or CCU nursing experience
- Strong cardiac nursing experience (surgical or medical)
- Proficiency with PA lines and transvenous pacing
- Preferred: Experience with Mechanical Circulatory Support (MCS) devices (IABP, Impella)
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA required)
- CPR certification (AHA required)
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility (no local travelers)
- All requested time off must be submitted with application
- Travelers who have worked for Beth Israel Lahey Health as permanent staff within the last six months are not eligible
CVICU RN Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in the CCU and CVICU settings
- Float between Cardiac Care and Cardiovascular Intensive Care Units as needed
- Monitor and manage patients with advanced cardiac conditions
- Utilize PA lines, transvenous pacing, and MCS devices (IABP, Impella)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Participate in unit orientation and ongoing clinical training
