Registered Nurse Job Details

Location: Asheville, NC (Zip: 28801) – North Carolina healthcare jobs
Facility: 815-bed hospital, Rapid Response Team
Assignment Type: Travel nursing job
Shift: 12-hour nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
Hours per Week: 36
Contract Duration: 26 weeks
Weekend Requirement: Rotating weekends
Dress Code: Royal Blue or house scrubs
Estimated Weekly Salary: $1570–$1680

ICU Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of ICU nursing experience required
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or compact state
Current ACLS and NIHSS certifications
Experience in rapid response nursing roles strongly recommended
Preferred: Medical ICU or Emergency Department background
Proficiency with Cerner EMR
Compassionate, collaborative healthcare professional

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

Rapidly respond to critical care situations throughout the hospital
Collaborate with core staff to deliver high-quality emergency care
Participate in trauma, stroke, STEMI workups, and cardiac arrest interventions
Perform post-resuscitation procedures, including targeted temperature management (TTM)
Float across all hospital units as needed
Maintain patient safety and quality standards in clinical support roles
