Miami Cath Lab RN Job Details
- Location: Miami, FL 33133 (South Florida healthcare jobs)
- Facility Setting: Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (13-bed unit)
- Assignment Length: 13-week travel nursing contract
- Start Date: December 1, 2025
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (10-hour shifts, 4 days/week, or until all cases are completed)
- On-Call: Required after hours, weekends, and major holidays (including every other weekend)
- Estimated Weekly Hours: 40
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2100-$2250
- Dress Code: Scrubs provided by the healthcare facility
Cath Lab RN Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Florida or compact state)
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association)
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Cath Lab RN
- Strong clinical knowledge of cardiac procedures: LHC, RHC, Peripherals, Structural Heart, and Electrophysiology (EP)
- Experience with Phillips and GE Cath Lab equipment preferred
- Proficiency with Meditech and Mac Lab documentation systems is a plus
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment and work independently
- Previous travel nursing experience highly valued
Cath Lab RN Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
- Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after cardiac procedures
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including RNs and Cardiovascular Technologists (CVTs)
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Meditech and Mac Lab systems
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours, weekends, and holidays as required
- Ensure patient safety and compliance with hospital policies and clinical protocols
- Demonstrate flexibility, critical thinking, and the ability to function independently in a busy cardiac unit
