- Location: Amarillo, TX 79106 (Texas healthcare jobs)
- Job Type: Travel Registered Nurse, On-Site
- Start Date: November 24, 2025
- End Date: February 23, 2026
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (08:00 – 18:00); cases may run 8am–7pm
- Hours per Week: 40
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2120 - $2180
- Call Requirement: Weeknights (7pm–7am), Weekends (7am–7pm)
- Holiday Coverage: May be required to work 2 out of 3 holidays
- Orientation: 20 hours onsite
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association)
- Epic EMR experience within the last 6 months required
- Travel nursing experience preferred
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (no local candidates)
Cath Lab RN Responsibilities
- Circulate and assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
- Monitor and manage patients during procedural sedation
- Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias
- Perform left and right heart catheterizations, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, and related procedures
- Scrub and circulate as needed for cardiac procedures
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, and pharmacy
- Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR
- Participate in on-call rotation for nights, weekends, and holidays
