Dallas Healthcare Job Details
- Location: Dallas, Texas 75230
- Unit: Solid Organ Transplant PCU (6EW, 6th Floor, West Building)
- Job Type: Travel RN – Progressive Care Unit
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 11/10/2025 – End: 2/9/2026)
- Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
- Dress Code: Royal Blue Scrubs
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,360 - $1,460
Transplant RN Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience (Transplant, PCU, or similar units preferred)
- Strong clinical and time management skills
- Experience with Meditech EMR preferred
Transplant Nurse Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing general surgeries, kidney transplants, and pre-liver transplant workups
- Monitor and assess patient status in a 17-bed transplant PCU (1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio)
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide patient-centered care
- Float to other acute care areas as needed (medical-surgical, general surgery, renal transplant, telemetry, neuro, orthopedic)
- Document patient care and progress using Meditech EMR
- Ensure compliance with unit guidelines and hospital policies
