Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Wilson, NC 27893 – Located just 45 miles east of Raleigh, close to the North Carolina coast, and near major universities. Enjoy local attractions like historic Fleming Stadium and Lake Wilson.
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Dates: 11/24/2025 or 12/8/2025
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Shift Duration: 12 Hour Nights
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,570–$1,680 per week
• Healthcare Setting: Emergency Department (ER)
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
• Orientation: Bi-weekly

ER Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license – North Carolina or compact state
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room (ER) nursing experience required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred
• Experience with Meditech electronic medical records preferred
• Must reside at least 60 miles from Wilson, NC to qualify as a travel nurse

Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patient care based on acuity and clinical protocols
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency procedures as ordered
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare team members
• Accurately document patient care in Meditech electronic medical records
• Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment in compliance with hospital policies
