• Location: Austin, TX 78705 (Texas healthcare jobs)
• Unit: Neuro (4 West), 40-bed hospital unit
• Assignment Length: 13-week travel nurse contract
• Start Date: November 17, 2025
• End Date: February 16, 2026
• Shift: 12 Hour Days; 12-hour days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1260 - $1350
• Employment Type: Travel RN, On-Site
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state
• BLS certification (required for healthcare jobs)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification (preferred for neuro nursing jobs)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Neuro or Med Surg RN experience
• Strong Med Surg assessment and pharmacology skills
• Experience with Meditech EMR (preferred)
• Excellent teamwork and positive attitude

Neuro RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to Neuro patients in a 40-bed hospital unit
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop care plans
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses
• Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and clinical support staff
• Accurately document patient care in Meditech EMR
• Ensure patient safety and compliance with hospital policies
• Promote a positive, team-oriented healthcare environment
