• Unit: Med Surg Oncology (13-bed unit, 4th floor)
• Start Date: October 27, 2025
• End Date: January 26, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7P - 7A)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Self-Scheduling: Yes, with every other weekend required
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1470 - $1570

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado or compact state
• At least 1 year of recent acute care nursing experience (Oncology nursing experience preferred)
• Chemotherapy Certification preferred
• Strong clinical skills in oncology and medical-surgical nursing
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Oncology Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to oncology patients
• Administer chemotherapy and monitor patient responses in a clinical setting
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech EMR
• Participate in unit quality initiatives and uphold infection prevention standards
• Educate and support patients and families throughout cancer treatment
