ICU Nursing Job Details
- Location: Boise, Idaho (83712) – Idaho healthcare jobs
- Facility Setting: Acute Care – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
- Start Date: November 10, 2025
- End Date: February 9, 2026
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00pm – 7:30am), every other weekend
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1680 - $1800
- Floating: May float to Meridian Medical Center, Nampa Medical Center, and other ICUs in the Valley; occasional 1:1 sitter assignments
- Orientation: 1-2 shifts
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active RN license – Idaho or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience in a similar or larger hospital setting
- Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- Proficient in titrating critical drips (Dopamine, Epinephrine, Norepinephrine, Cardene, Nitro, Neosynephrine, Vasopressin, Diltiazem, Insulin, Esmolol)
- Experience with Epic EMR charting system preferred
- Ability to monitor and interpret cardiac strips
- Willingness to float to other units as needed
ICU Nurse Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality critical care nursing to patients in SICU/MICU settings
- Manage nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2
- Monitor, titrate, and administer critical care medications and drips
- Collaborate with hospitalists, intensivists, respiratory therapists, and CNAs
- Float to other ICUs or serve as a 1:1 sitter when required
- Document patient care using Epic EMR
- Participate in unit orientation and ongoing professional development
