ICU Nursing Job Details

• Location: Boise, Idaho (83712) – Idaho healthcare jobs
• Facility Setting: Acute Care – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
• Start Date: November 10, 2025
• End Date: February 9, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00pm – 7:30am), every other weekend
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1680 - $1800
• Floating: May float to Meridian Medical Center, Nampa Medical Center, and other ICUs in the Valley; occasional 1:1 sitter assignments
• Orientation: 1-2 shifts

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license – Idaho or compact state
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience in a similar or larger hospital setting
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Proficient in titrating critical drips (Dopamine, Epinephrine, Norepinephrine, Cardene, Nitro, Neosynephrine, Vasopressin, Diltiazem, Insulin, Esmolol)
• Experience with Epic EMR charting system preferred
• Ability to monitor and interpret cardiac strips
• Willingness to float to other units as needed

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality critical care nursing to patients in SICU/MICU settings
• Manage nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2
• Monitor, titrate, and administer critical care medications and drips
• Collaborate with hospitalists, intensivists, respiratory therapists, and CNAs
• Float to other ICUs or serve as a 1:1 sitter when required
• Document patient care using Epic EMR
• Participate in unit orientation and ongoing professional development
