Travel Nursing Job Details
- Location: Charleston, SC 29407
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: December 8, 2025
- End Date: March 9, 2026
- Shift: 5x8-hour day shifts (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
- Hours per Week: 40
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1950 - $2100
- On-Call: No
- Weekend Requirement: No
- Floating: Possible to similar units
- Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab (2 procedure rooms)
Cath Lab RN Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina or compact state (must be active by start date)
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Cath Lab RN
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Previous charge nurse experience required
- Proficiency with Epic electronic charting system required
- Radiation badge (provided by agency)
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
- Ability to complete pre-employment compliance and orientation modules
Cath Lab RN Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures
- Assist with cardiac implant closure devices, diagnostic caths, right heart cath, arrhythmia induction, cardiac ablation, baseline measurements, cardioversion, conduction studies, pacemaker insertion, and AICD insertion/programming
- Monitor patients during procedures and administer emergency medications as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Epic
- Float to similar nursing units as needed
- Adhere to infection prevention and patient safety protocols
- Participate in emergency response teams during hurricane season if required
