ICU RN Job Details

• Location: Lynwood, California 90262 (Greater Los Angeles Area)
• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Unit: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour night shifts)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Assignment Duration: 52 weeks (11/24/2025 – 11/24/2026)
• On-Site Position
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,780 - $1,910

ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• RN Critical Care certification (CCRN) required
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced ICU environment
• Compliance with all onboarding health and background requirements (COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, TB, Varicella, Tdap, and drug screening)
• Excellent communication, clinical, and critical thinking skills

ICU RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions; administer medications and manage life-support equipment
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Accurately document patient care in electronic medical records (EMR)
• Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and provide emotional support
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols at all times
