Labor & Delivery RN Job Details

• Location: Lynwood, CA 90262 (Los Angeles County)
• Healthcare Setting: Labor & Delivery Unit
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing, On-Site
• Start Date: November 24, 2025
• End Date: November 24, 2026
• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour night shifts)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Contract Duration: 52 weeks
• Openings: 3 Labor & Delivery RN positions available
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2100-$2250

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted California RN license
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse
• Current BLS and NRP certifications (American Heart Association preferred)
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Completion of all required onboarding health screenings and documentation (COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, TB Test, Fit Test, Varicella, Tdap, Drug Screening, and others as required)
• Professional references and updated nursing resume

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods
• Monitor maternal and fetal status, promptly recognizing and responding to complications
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Administer medications and assist with pain management techniques as needed
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care best practices
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in electronic medical records
• Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and clinical safety protocols
