Emergency Room Nurse Job Details

• Location: Flemington, New Jersey (08822) – Convenient to Central NJ healthcare professionals
• Assignment Length: 13-week contract
• Hours per Week: 36 (full-time nursing position)
• Shift: Mid - Flex (primarily 12:00 PM – 12:30 AM); occasional Day Shift (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM) with advance notice
• Schedule: Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
• Start Date: December 16, 2025

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN License (required at time of application)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) or ER nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications
• Flu immunization required (medical exemption accepted with documentation)
• Professional appearance; clean, professional scrubs of any color permitted

ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
• Assess, triage, and monitor patients, responding to rapidly changing clinical conditions
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions as ordered
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare team members for optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient care and clinical procedures
• Adhere to infection control, patient safety, and hospital protocols
