• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour night shifts)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1530 - $1640

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered RN license (Tennessee or compact state)
• Minimum 1 year of recent oncology nursing experience or acute care RN experience
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment

Oncology RN Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to oncology patients
• Administer chemotherapy and other cancer treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patient progress, recognize changes in condition, and respond promptly
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families about oncology treatment plans, side effects, and symptom management
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold the highest standards of patient safety
