Location: Fort Worth, Texas 76177
Assignment Type: Travel Nursing
Unit: Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Start Date: December 9, 2025
End Date: March 10, 2026
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Nursing Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Hours per Week: 36
Positions Available: 2
Estimated Weekly Salary: $1360 - $1460 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 1 year of recent Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or step-down nursing experience
Current and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

PCU RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit
Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding promptly to changes
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and post-discharge instructions
Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record system
