• Start Date: February 9, 2026
• End Date: May 11, 2026
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Night, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1680 - $1720
• Patient Population: Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
• Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:4
• Charting System: EPIC
• Flu Vaccine: Required (medical exemptions considered)

Emergency Room RN Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
• Active Registered Nurse license (compact or Ohio RN license required at time of submission)
• Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS
• Experience with EPIC charting system preferred
• Community hospital, LTAC, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
• Must provide 2 professional references (at least 1 from a manager/director or supervisor; Charge RN acceptable for 2nd reference)
• Must complete Ohio fingerprinting promptly upon contract signing
• ER observation/holding or MS/tele experience required

ER RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate emergency nursing care in the Emergency Department Observation Unit
• Monitor and interpret telemetry, manage dysrhythmias
• Provide PCU/Stepdown level care, including IV insulin and heparin protocols
• Manage renal failure and administer/titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Administer blood products and manage tracheostomies
• Participate in rapid response team interventions
• Perform wound care and manage wound vacs
• Provide non-invasive airway management (CPAP/BIPAP, oxygen therapy)
• Accurately document patient care using EPIC electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams: Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy, and more
