• Location: Mount Clemens, MI 48043 – Historic city along the Clinton River, close to Detroit and top Michigan healthcare employers.
• Assignment Type: Travel Operating Room RN
• Unit: Surgical Services (Operating Room – General)
• Start Date: December 1, 2025
• End Date: March 2, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (8 Hour Days)
• Hours per Week: 40 (Guaranteed)
• On-Call: 1 day per week, may include weekends
• Open Positions: 2 Operating Room RN jobs
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1910–$2050

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license (LARA and Nursys verification required)
• At least 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience
• Clinical proficiency in endoscopy procedures
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• ACLS certification preferred
• Completion of RN skills checklist within one year
• Not eligible if employed full-time at facility within past 6 months

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Assist in a full range of surgical procedures, including elective and emergency operations
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs to ensure patient safety
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes during surgery
• Maintain sterile technique and follow infection control protocols
• Participate in on-call rotations, including some weekends
• Accurately document patient care and surgical activities
