Key Job Details – RN Supervisor, Waterloo, NY

• Position Type: Travel, Part Time RN Supervisor
• Location: Waterloo, NY 13165 (New York nursing jobs)
• Shift: Nights (11:00pm – 7:30am), 8-hour shifts
• Schedule: 2x8s/3x8s rotation, every other weekend, holidays as needed
• Contract Duration: 15 weeks (Start: 12/9/2025 – End: 3/21/2026)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1860-$2000

RN Supervisor Qualifications

• Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility
• Supervisory experience managing multiple nursing units
• Current BLS certification (AHA or RQI)
• CPI certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire)
• Knowledge of NYSDOH requirements and healthcare regulations
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and organizational skills
• Proficient computer skills

RN Supervisor Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise nursing units, providing clinical support to healthcare staff
• Ensure quality patient care through teaching, mentoring, and supervision
• Collaborate with Director of Nursing and Nurse Managers to resolve unit issues
• Make administrative decisions during off-shifts and weekends
• Model professionalism and effective communication with residents and staff
• Promote a safe, respectful, and healing environment for patients and healthcare team members
• Manage multiple priorities and deadlines while fostering teamwork
• Maintain compliance with safety and infection control protocols
