ICU Registered Nurse Job Details

Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift
Location: Niagara Falls, NY 14301 (New York healthcare jobs)
Employment Type: Travel Nursing Contract
Contract Duration: 8 weeks (11/19/2025 – 1/14/2026)
Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Hours per Week: 36
Estimated Weekly Pay: $1880–$2020
On-Site Position

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience required
BLS certification (required)
ACLS certification (preferred)
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity hospital environment

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver critical care nursing to patients with acute and life-threatening conditions
Monitor, assess, and administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Operate and manage ventilators and advanced life-support equipment
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
Accurately document patient status, interventions, and care provided
