• Location: Hendersonville, TN 37075 – Family-friendly community near Nashville, ideal for nurses seeking Tennessee healthcare jobs
• Unit: Critical Care Unit (CCU)
• Contract Length: 13-week nursing contract
• Start Date: January 12, 2026
• End Date: April 13, 2026
• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour night shifts)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1470-$1570
• Patient Ratio: 2:1 for CCU patients
• Number of Beds: 20-bed ICU
• Flexible scheduling and collaborative healthcare team

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license (Registered Nurse)
• Minimum 1 year recent ICU or critical care nursing experience
• ACLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Experience with Meditech clinical documentation preferred
• Skilled in arterial line management, venous/arterial sheaths, cardiovascular and vasopressor drips, ventilator care
• Ability to work 3 weekend shifts every 4 weeks
• Black scrubs required

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality care to critically ill patients in a 20-bed CCU
• Monitor and manage patients using advanced equipment: GE monitors, Alaris pumps, Puritan Bennett ventilators
• Assist with bedside procedures including central line placement and massive transfusion protocols
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team members (unit secretaries, techs)
• Float to other hospital units as needed, per facility policy
• Accurately document patient care in Meditech system
• Maintain highest standards of patient safety and satisfaction
