Med/Surg RN Job Details

• Location: Keene, NH 03431 (New Hampshire healthcare jobs)
• Unit: Kingsbury Medical-Surgical (27 beds)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (12/22/2025 – 3/21/2026)
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Schedule: Every other weekend, rotating holidays
• Patient Ratio: RN 5:1, LNA 3:1
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1910 - $2040

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Surgical RN experience
• Active New Hampshire RN License or Compact RN License (proof of state residency required)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Proficient in post-surgical drains, central line care/maintenance, Foley catheter insertion, G/J/NG/PEG tube management, IV medication administration/IV push, wound care, and oxygen therapy
• Epic EMR and telemetry experience preferred

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and elderly patients with medical and post-operative needs
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatments
• Administer medications and perform procedures including central line care, wound care, and tube management
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members for comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients and families on care plans and post-discharge instructions
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and compliant healthcare environment
