Travel Nursing Job Details

Location: Kansas City, MO 64132 (Missouri nursing jobs)
Unit: Operating Room (18 ORs)
Employment Type: Travel Nursing – Operating Room Registered Nurse
Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 12/1/2025 – End: 3/2/2026)
Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Hours per Week: 36
Estimated Weekly Salary: $1680 - $1800

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
BLS certification (required)
Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room nursing experience
Proficiency in OR nursing skills and clinical support
Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver safe, effective nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in the Operating Room
Assist in a variety of surgeries including cardiac, trauma, orthopedics, neurosurgery, urology, gynecology, and robotics (DaVinci and Mako)
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs in a fast-paced Level I trauma center
Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech
Support patient safety and positive surgical outcomes
