ICU Nursing Job Details
- Location: Saratoga Springs, NY 12866 (Upstate New York healthcare jobs)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/8/2025 – End: 3/7/2026)
- Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1840-$1980
- Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
- On-Site Position
- Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend and holiday required
ICU RN Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of recent ICU nursing experience
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- Proficiency with hypothermia protocols, balloon pumps, and pulmonary artery lines
- EPIC charting experience required
- Available to work through the holidays
- Successful completion of on-site, timed ECG exam (study materials provided)
- Physical exam required prior to start
- Flu vaccination required (medical or religious documentation needed 10 days before start)
- County Restrictions: Candidates cannot reside in the following NY counties: Warren, Washington, Fulton, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Columbia, Greene, Dutchess, Ulster, Albany
- At least 1 year of experience required
ICU Nurse Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit
- Monitor and manage patients with advanced cardiac and respiratory support devices
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Utilize EPIC for accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Participate in ongoing education and complete required ECG exam upon arrival
- Maintain compliance with facility policies, including vaccination and physical requirements
- Work every other weekend and holiday as scheduled
