- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Nursing Shifts: 3x12 hour night shifts (6:45pm – 7:15am)
- Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
- Number of Positions: 2
- Potential to float between facilities: Skagit Valley Hospital and Cascade Valley Hospital
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,270 - $2,330 per week
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience (labor and delivery nurse jobs)
- Active Washington State Registered Nurse License
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- C-EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) certification
- Ability to float between Skagit Valley Hospital and Cascade Valley Hospital as needed
Labor and Delivery Nurse Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate and skilled care to laboring mothers and newborns
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being using advanced clinical technology
- Assist with deliveries and support physicians, midwives, and the healthcare team
- Administer medications and manage IVs as required
- Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold hospital policies
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
