Registered Nurse Job Details
- Location: Lebanon, NH (Zip: 03756)
- Healthcare Setting: Medical Specialties Unit
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 12/22/2025 or 1/5/2026; End: 3/21/2026)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Nursing Shift: 11.5-hour rotating shifts (Day/Night: 07:00-19:00 or 19:00-07:00)
- Employment Type: Travel RN
- On-Call: Yes
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2200-$2360
Med/Surg RN Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (New Hampshire or compact state)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
- Clinical experience with chest tubes, tubes, and IV drips (Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, amiodarone)
- Proficiency in post-surgical patient care: lines, tubes, drains
- Experience with tracheostomies, laryngectomies, and telemetry monitoring
- Competence in wound care and central line maintenance
- Ability to perform blood draws from central lines
Registered Nurse Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with acute and chronic illnesses: sepsis, infectious diseases, kidney disease, diabetes, GI issues, fluid/electrolyte imbalances, alcohol withdrawal, liver disease, substance misuse, endocarditis, heart disease, skin/wound issues, and respiratory illnesses (COPD, flu, pneumonia, cystic fibrosis)
- Monitor and manage patients on telemetry
- Administer and titrate IV drips and medications as ordered
- Provide care for patients with chest tubes, tracheostomies, and laryngectomies
- Perform central line care, maintenance, and blood draws
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient care accurately and timely
