Registered Nurse Job Details

• Location: Canton, Ohio (44708) – Ohio healthcare jobs
• Unit: 7Main Medical/Telemetry Unit
• Employment Type: Travel RN contract
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 12/19/2025 – End: 3/20/2026)
• Shifts: Night shift, 3 x 12-hour shifts/week (7:00pm – 7:30am)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Openings: 2 Med/Surg Telemetry RN positions
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $180

RN Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 18 months recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
• Active Ohio RN license or Compact State RN license
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS & ACLS certifications
• NIH Stroke certification (required prior to start)
• Experience with Epic charting system
• TWO recent references from a Med/Surg Telemetry manager, ANM, supervisor, or director (from assignments worked within the past 12 months)
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation

Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; respond to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Epic EMR
• Complete orientation and required clinical assessments
• Work every other holiday as scheduled
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures
