Registered Nurse Job Details

• Location: Canton, Ohio (44708) – Ohio healthcare jobs
• Unit: 4Main Medical/Telemetry Unit
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 12/19/2025 – End: 3/20/2026)
• Shift: Night shift, 3 x 12-hour shifts per week (7:00pm – 7:30am)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1910-$1960
• Employment Type: Travel nursing contract

RN Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
• Active Ohio RN license or Compact State nursing license
• American Heart Association BLS & ACLS certifications (active)
• NIH Stroke certification (must obtain prior to start)
• Epic EMR experience required
• Two recent references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in Med/Surg Telemetry (within past 12 months)
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation

Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective nursing care to patients in a busy medical/telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; respond to changes promptly
• Document patient care using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Participate in orientation and ongoing competency assessments
• Work at least every other holiday during the contract
