• Facility Setting: Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab)
• Assignment Length: 13-week travel nursing contract
• Start Date: December 22, 2025
• End Date: March 21, 2026
• Shift: 4 days/week, 10-hour shifts (7AM–5PM)
• Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2910–$3120
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)
• On-Call: STEMI ON-Call position

Qualifications – Cath Lab Registered Nurse

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification – required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification – required
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
• Minimum 2 years of critical care or Cath Lab RN experience

Cath Lab RN Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments for pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations in the cardiac catheterization lab
• Deliver high-quality nursing care, including direct patient care and emergency interventions in a clinical setting
• Maintain accurate documentation of the nursing process, patient progress, and patient education
• Demonstrate professionalism and compliance with hospital and healthcare policies
• Promote patient and family satisfaction through compassionate communication
• Adhere to National Patient Safety Goals, Universal Protocol, and proper patient identification procedures
• Customize patient care based on procedure and anesthesia type, monitoring patient reactions
• Collaborate with the perioperative team to prioritize patient care and respond to changing conditions
• Perform pre-operative and post-operative assessments, including patient education
• Support patient testing and evaluate Pre Admission Testing (PAT) orders for accuracy
