Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Muscatine, Iowa (52761) – Eastern Iowa nursing jobs
• Healthcare Setting: Acute Care Unit – Med/Surg Telemetry/Stepdown
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)
• Start Date: December 29, 2025
• End Date: March 30, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Nursing Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,880 - $2,020

RN Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg or Stepdown nursing experience
• First-time travel nurses welcome
• Active Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR
• Ability to float to ER and care for acute patient populations (critical gtts, drips)
• Must reside at least 50 miles from hospital (local candidates not accepted)

Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care in the Med/Surg Telemetry/Stepdown unit
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate patient care
• Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed
• Deliver care for acute patient populations, including management of critical medications and drips
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation using EPIC EMR
• Participate in required holiday coverage (work 2 of 3 winter holidays)
