Location: Springfield, IL 62769
Healthcare Setting: Neuro Unit, Telemetry
Nursing Shift: 12-hour night shifts (NOC), every other weekend required
Hours per Week: 36
Employment Type: Travel Nursing Contract
Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,950–$2,090 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license (required at time of application)
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Telemetry or Neuro nursing
Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and every other weekend
Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
Must provide all requested time off (RTO) at time of submission

Tele RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Neuro/Telemetry unit
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and neurological status
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record (EMR)
Educate patients and families regarding care plans and discharge instructions
Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions
