Shift: 12-Hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Hours per Week: 36
Guaranteed Hours: 24 per week
On-Call: Schedule determined by facility
Weekend Schedule: To be determined by facility
Estimated Weekly Salary: $1880 - $2020

Emergency Room RN Qualifications

Minimum 2 years (24 months) of recent Emergency Room RN experience required
Active Arizona Registered Nurse license (no license hits)
Current certifications (AHA or American Red Cross):
BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)

Travel nursing experience preferred

Flu vaccination required (declinations considered)

Must not have an Arizona home address on driver’s license

Compliance with all facility background and submission requirements

ER Nurse Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in a fast-paced Emergency Room environment
Assess, triage, and monitor patients, responding rapidly to changes in condition
Administer medications, treatments, and perform emergency procedures as needed
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record
Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions
Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and compliance standards
