Oncology RN Job Details

• Location: Gillette, Wyoming 82716
• Healthcare Setting: Outpatient Oncology Infusion Center
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Contract
• Start Date: December 15, 2025
• End Date: March 16, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 10-hour day shifts (7am–5pm), 4 shifts per week
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,190 - $2,350

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (RN)
• Active Wyoming RN license or Compact State Registered Nurse license
• ONS (Oncology Nursing Society) Certification required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Epic EMR experience highly preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in oncology nursing or medical/surgical nursing preferred
• Ability to maintain all required nursing certifications and continuing education

Oncology Nurse Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the Infusion Center Manager and multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Deliver professional nursing care to oncology patients receiving intravenous therapies and infusion treatments
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Monitor and document patient status during infusion therapy
• Educate oncology patients and families about treatments, procedures, and care plans
• Maintain professional nursing standards and participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Ensure a safe, clean, and compliant healthcare environment
• Provide clinical support to other nursing units as needed
• Perform other nursing duties as assigned
