Travel Nursing Job Details

• End Date: March 16, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend/Holiday Coverage: Every other weekend and one major holiday required
• Unit Size: 20–34 beds
• Patient Ratio: 1:6 typical
• Dress Code: Personal scrubs (any color)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1930–$2070

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
• Experience with telemetry required
• Willingness to float to any Medical/Surgical unit
• Completion of a Basic Dysrhythmia course (required)
• Meditech Expanse EMR experience strongly preferred
• Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS (must be current at profile upload)
• Traveler must have a personal vehicle
• Permanent address required (must reside more than 50 miles from facility)
• Submit work history, current skills checklist (within 1 year), and 1 supervisory signed reference (from past 2 years)

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in a Medical/Surgical setting
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Float to other Med/Surg units as needed
• Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical training
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures
• Work every other weekend and one major holiday as scheduled
