• Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
• Location: Sunnyvale, TX 75182 (Dallas metro area)
• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing
• Unit: Emergency Department (ED)
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
• Assignment Duration: 10 weeks (Start: 12/22/2025 – End: 3/3/2026)
• Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1:4
• Number of Beds: 21-30
• Weekend Requirement: Yes
• Charting System: Cerner
• Scrub Color: Black
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,440 - $1,540 per week

ER RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification – AHA required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification – AHA required
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification preferred
• Ability to float within skillset as needed
• Strong clinical skills in emergency care and acute patient management

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a busy Emergency Department
• Assess, triage, and monitor patients with acute conditions (cardiac, abdominal pain, respiratory issues)
• Assist with emergency procedures such as chest tube placement and intubation
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR system
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Float to other clinical areas within scope of practice as needed
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and adhere to hospital policies
