Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
• Telemetry RN experience preferred, but not required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR system
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and commit to a 13-week travel nursing contract
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Travel assignment – local candidates from ineligible counties are not accepted

Telemetry Nurse Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients in the Telemetry unit, ensuring safe and effective clinical care
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to deliver high-quality patient care
• Accurately document patient care using Epic EMR system
• Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and ongoing health needs
• Float to other nursing units as needed to support patient care
