Santa Fe Operating Room RN Job Details

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
• Active New Mexico RN license or Compact state RN license (required for New Mexico nursing jobs)
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
• ACLS Certification (American Heart Association)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room Registered Nurse experience
• Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of patient rights and healthcare compliance in clinical settings
• Ability to manage emergencies and perform physically demanding tasks in a surgical environment

OR RN Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient care in the Operating Room, ensuring safety and quality during surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to healthcare compliance standards
• Demonstrate professionalism and compassion with staff, physicians, patients, and families
• Respond promptly to surgical emergencies and adapt to changing patient needs in a fast-paced healthcare environment
