Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Arizona Registered Nurse license or compact state RN license eligible for Arizona
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Telemetry or Medical-Surgical nursing
• Ability to work all scheduled night shifts
• Willingness to float to PCU/ICU (low acuity) as needed
• Strong clinical, critical thinking, and communication skills

Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in the Telemetry unit
• Utilize the nursing process in accordance with the Arizona Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
• Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and leadership in delivering safe patient care
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and training
• Delegate patient care tasks based on staff education and experience
• Supervise and provide direction to assigned healthcare personnel
• Participate in float rotation to PCU/ICU (low acuity) as required
