ER RN Job Details – Dallas, TX
- Location: Dallas, Texas 75230
- Healthcare Setting: Free Standing Emergency Department (ER)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: December 8, 2025
- End Date: March 9, 2026
- Nursing Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour night shifts)
- Hours per Week: 36 (guaranteed)
- Schedule: Every other weekend required
- On-Site Position
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1360 - $1460
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state (no temporary licenses)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS
- Experience with Meditech electronic documentation system preferred
- Ability to float to other clinical units as needed
- Compliance with hospital dress code: Royal Blue scrubs, clean and healthy nails (no artificial nails), neat hair (pulled back if shoulder length or longer), no visible piercings except ears, tattoos covered when possible
ER Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Assess, triage, and monitor patients, responding quickly to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
- Accurately document patient care using Meditech (preferred)
- Float to other clinical units as required
- Follow hospital policies, attendance, and unit guidelines
