ICU Nurse Job Details

• Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Nursing Assignment
• Location: Nacogdoches, Texas 75965
• Healthcare Setting: ICU & CCU Combined Unit, Level IV Trauma Center (155 beds)
• Contract Length: 13-week travel assignment
• Start Date: December 16, 2025 (weekly Tuesday starts)
• Nursing Shift: 12-hour night shifts
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,410 – $1,510
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing (On-Site)

ICU RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience
• Strong clinical skills in critical care and acute care settings
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality critical care nursing to patients in a fast-paced ICU & CCU environment
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Educate and support patients and families throughout the care process
• Manage common ICU diagnoses including respiratory failure, sepsis, and renal failure
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulatory standards
