ICU RN Travel Job Details

• Location: North Richland Hills, TX 76180 (Dallas-Fort Worth area)
• Assignment Length: 13-week travel nursing contract
• Start Date: December 22, 2025
• End Date: March 23, 2026
• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour night shifts)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,360 – $1,460
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse, On-Site

ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Texas RN license (no temporary licenses; required for Texas nursing jobs)
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience in a hospital setting
• BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
• Skilled in hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, and post-CABG care
• Experience with Meditech electronic health records preferred
• CVICU (Cardiovascular ICU) or critical care nursing experience preferred
• Ability to float to other ICU or PCU units as needed
• Professional appearance: Royal Blue scrubs, clean and healthy nails (no artificial nails), neat hair (no extreme styles/colors), visible piercings (other than ears) and tattoos must be covered

ICU RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-acuity patient care in a fast-paced intensive care unit, including ECMO, heart transplant, and CABG cases
• Monitor and manage critically ill patients using advanced clinical equipment and protocols
• Collaborate with intensivists, physicians, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Perform bedside shift reports and maintain accurate electronic patient records
• Comply with hospital policies, dress code, and professional nursing standards
• Float to other critical care units (ICU, PCU) as required based on patient census and acuity
