ICU RN Travel Job Details
- Location: North Richland Hills, TX 76180 (Dallas-Fort Worth area)
- Assignment Length: 13-week travel nursing contract
- Start Date: December 22, 2025
- End Date: March 23, 2026
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour night shifts)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,360 – $1,460
- Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse, On-Site

ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Texas RN license (no temporary licenses; required for Texas nursing jobs)
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience in a hospital setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
- Skilled in hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, and post-CABG care
- Experience with Meditech electronic health records preferred
- CVICU (Cardiovascular ICU) or critical care nursing experience preferred
- Ability to float to other ICU or PCU units as needed
- Professional appearance: Royal Blue scrubs, clean and healthy nails (no artificial nails), neat hair (no extreme styles/colors), visible piercings (other than ears) and tattoos must be covered
ICU RN Responsibilities
- Deliver high-acuity patient care in a fast-paced intensive care unit, including ECMO, heart transplant, and CABG cases
- Monitor and manage critically ill patients using advanced clinical equipment and protocols
- Collaborate with intensivists, physicians, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Perform bedside shift reports and maintain accurate electronic patient records
- Comply with hospital policies, dress code, and professional nursing standards
- Float to other critical care units (ICU, PCU) as required based on patient census and acuity
