ER Registered Nurse Job Details

• Location: Pennington, NJ 08534 (New Jersey healthcare jobs)
• Position: ER Registered Nurse (RN) – Float Pool (ED Holds)
• Contract Length: 8 weeks
• Start Date: January 6, 2026
• End Date: February 28, 2026
• Shifts per Week: 3
• Shift Duration: 12-hour night shifts
• Total Hours: 36 hours per week
• Schedule: Every other weekend & every other holiday required
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue
• EMR System: Cerner
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,880 – $2,020

ER Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Surgical Telemetry (MST) RN experience required
• Active New Jersey or Compact Registered Nurse license required at time of submission
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale
• Flu vaccine required (no declinations accepted)
• Ability to float between RMC and Hopewell campuses as needed

ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department Holds unit
• Float between RMC and Hopewell campuses to deliver clinical support as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient care using the Cerner EMR system
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols
• Demonstrate adaptability and professionalism in a fast-paced emergency nursing environment
