Boston Nursing Job Details

Location: Boston, MA 02215 (Massachusetts nursing jobs)
Assignment Length: 13 weeks (January 5, 2026 – April 4, 2026)
Unit: Shapiro 7 BMT Clinic / Dept of Medicine / Division of Hematology and Hematologic Malignancies
Shift: 8-hour day shifts (9:30 AM – 6:00 PM)
Hours per Week: 40 (72 hours biweekly guaranteed)
Estimated Weekly Pay: $2560 - $2750
Employment Type: Travel Nurse, On-Site

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license required at time of submission
CHEMO certification required
Minimum 2 years of recent Hematology/Oncology nursing experience
BLS certification (AHA) required
Flu vaccination required prior to start (medical exemptions accepted)
Must not reside within 50 miles of the facility (no local travelers)
Must not have worked for Beth Israel Lahey Health in any capacity within the last 6 months
All requested time off must be presented at time of submission

Oncology Nurse Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to oncology and bone marrow transplant patients
Administer chemotherapy and hematology/oncology treatments following clinical protocols
Monitor patient progress, assess for side effects, and educate patients and families
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to create and implement individualized care plans
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety and infection control standards
Participate in ongoing professional development and clinical training
