Registered Nurse Job Details

• Location: Clarksville, TN (zip 37040)
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse Contract
• Unit: Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg), 18-24 beds
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 12/29/2025, End: 3/30/2026)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Patient Ratio: 1:6
• Scrub Color: Navy
• EMR: Cerner (Merge and PowerChart)
• Estimated Weekly Pay Range: $1570 - $1680

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Tennessee Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification required
• At least 1 year of recent medical-surgical nursing experience (2 years preferred)
• Ability to float to other hospital units as needed
• Availability to work every other weekend and holiday as required
• Travel nurses must reside more than 50 miles from the Clarksville healthcare facility

Med/Surg Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical patients in a busy hospital environment
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status using Cerner EMR systems
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to improve patient outcomes
• Float to other hospital units to offer clinical support as needed
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant healthcare setting
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and clinical protocols
