ICU Registered Nurse Job Details

• Job Title: Travel ICU Registered Nurse (RN)
• Location: Clarksville, TN 37040
• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing, On-Site
• Start Date: December 29, 2025
• End Date: March 30, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Nursing Shift: 12 Hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Unit: ICU (21 beds)
• Patient Ratio: 2:1
• EMR System: Cerner
• Scrub Color: Navy
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1470 - $1570

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Tennessee RN license or multistate compact nursing license
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)
• Strong clinical skills: ventilator management, vasoactive drips, lytics, critical patient assessment, tracheostomy, neuro, stroke, STEMI, sheath management
• Ability to float to Med-Surg, Step Down, and Emergency Department units
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (per travel nurse guidelines)
• Willingness to work night shifts and provide call coverage
• Maximum Requested Time Off (RTO): 1 week total

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in a 21-bed ICU
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and respond to rapidly changing clinical conditions
• Administer and monitor vasoactive drips, manage ventilators, and provide advanced cardiac and neuro care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Float to Med-Surg, Step Down, and Emergency Department units as required
• Accurately document all patient care in the Cerner EMR system
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for patients and families
