- Shift: 12-hour night shifts
- Hours per Week: 36

- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1760 - $1890
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan or compact state
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification – required before first shift
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Certification – required before first shift
- Minimum 2 years of recent bedside clinical experience in a Med/Surg nursing setting
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
Med/Surg RN Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans for medical-surgical patients
- Provide direct patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Supervise and support Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and new staff
- Accurately document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic health record
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity and quality of patient care
- Promote patient and staff safety by following hospital policies and clinical safety protocols
- Participate in patient and family education, discharge planning, and interdisciplinary team meetings
- Foster a positive and efficient work environment through teamwork and effective communication
- Assume charge nurse duties as needed after orientation
- Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education
