ICU RN Job Details

• Location: Indianapolis, IN 46237 (Indiana nursing jobs)
• Healthcare Setting: Critical Care Unit (CCU), 16 beds
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
• Start Date: November 19, 2025
• End Date: February 18, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00pm – 7:30am), every other weekend required
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1680-$1800
• EMR System: Epic
• Dress Code: Navy scrubs

ICU RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Indiana or compact state)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU or critical care nursing experience
• Proficiency with ventilators and titratable drips
• Ability to float to step-down or other critical care units as needed
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach

ICU RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in a 16-bed Critical Care Unit
• Monitor and manage patients on ventilators and titratable drips
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR
• Float to step-down or other critical care units as required
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols
• Provide compassionate support to patients and their families
