Location: Englewood, Colorado 80113 (Denver metro area)
Healthcare Setting: Orthopedic Surgical Unit (20 beds, 1:5 nurse-patient ratio)
Assignment Type: Travel RN contract
Start Date: December 22, 2025
End Date: March 23, 2026
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour night shifts)
Hours per Week: 36
Estimated Weekly Salary: $1360–$1460

Orthopedic Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Colorado or compact state)
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in orthopedic or surgical nursing
Proven ability to independently manage a 5-patient assignment
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR); Meditech preferred
Strong teamwork, communication, and clinical skills
Pain management and orthopedic care experience highly preferred

Deliver high-quality nursing care to orthopedic and trauma patients
Perform dressing changes, aspiration procedures, and post-surgical monitoring
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes
