• Patient Ratio: 1:1
• Orientation: 40 hours

Cath Lab RN Qualifications

• Active Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) license (or pending license accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab RN experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system
• Ability to float between units and affiliated healthcare facilities as needed
• Reliable vehicle required for travel between assignments
• Two recent supervisory references (covering 1 year within the last 3 years)
• Willingness to complete pre-start and annual healthcare training modules

Cath Lab RN Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in the Cath Lab, including diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations
• Administer and monitor procedural sedation; interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias
• Monitor patients during left and right heart catheterizations and pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz procedures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including pharmacy, rapid response, and interpretation services
• Float to other nursing units or affiliate hospitals based on skill set and facility needs
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond promptly to urgent patient care needs
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Epic
• Provide compassionate nursing care to adult and geriatric patient populations
