Travel Nursing Job Details

- Healthcare Setting: Short Term Acute Care, Teaching Hospital
- Shift: Day shifts, 4x10-hour (07:30 - 18:00)
- Hours per Week: 40
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2350 - $2520

- Scrubs: Provided for Cath Lab RNs
- Charting System: Epic
- Floating: May float to nearby sister facilities (Milwaukie, Newberg, Hood River, Willamette Falls, Seaside, and Saint Vincent)
- On-call: Required (weekdays and weekends)
- Patient Ratio: 1:1
- Orientation: 40 hours
Cath Lab RN Qualifications
- Active Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) license (or pending license accepted)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab RN experience
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system
- Ability to float between units and affiliated healthcare facilities as needed
- Reliable vehicle required for travel between assignments
- Two recent supervisory references (covering 1 year within the last 3 years)
- Willingness to complete pre-start and annual healthcare training modules
Cath Lab RN Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in the Cath Lab, including diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations
- Administer and monitor procedural sedation; interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias
- Monitor patients during left and right heart catheterizations and pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz procedures
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including pharmacy, rapid response, and interpretation services
- Float to other nursing units or affiliate hospitals based on skill set and facility needs
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond promptly to urgent patient care needs
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Epic
- Provide compassionate nursing care to adult and geriatric patient populations
