Travel Nurse Job Details

• Location: Baltimore, MD 21215 (Maryland healthcare jobs)
• Assignment Length: 14 weeks (12/15/2025 – 3/23/2026)
• Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts per week (06:30 – 17:00, Monday–Friday)
• On-Call: 1 weeknight per week, 1 full weekend per contract, and holiday call as scheduled
• Estimated Weekly Hours: 40
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2450–$2620
• Patient Population: Adult patients
• Unit: 2 North Cath Lab

Cath Lab RN Qualifications

• Active Maryland or Compact State Registered Nurse License (required at time of submission)
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required for healthcare jobs)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience
• Proficient in patient assessment, conscious sedation, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Ability to respond to the hospital within 30 minutes when on call
• Experience with Cerner charting system (preferred)
• Previous charge nurse, Trauma Level I/II, and travel nursing experience preferred
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)

Cath Lab Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced nursing assessment, care, and documentation for patients throughout their Cath Lab procedures (pre-, intra-, and post-procedure)
• Administer medications and provide patient comfort, support, and education
• Perform and monitor conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring
• Circulate and assist in scrubbing for cardiac procedures, including sheath removal
• Coordinate patient care and manage inventory of supplies and equipment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, and Social Services
• Operate specialized Cath Lab equipment: IMPELLA, IABP, Pacemaker, AngioJet, Rotoblade, IVUS, Laser
• Participate in rotating days off and required on-call coverage (evenings, weekends, holidays)
• Float within facility as needed, within scope of RN practice
