Med/Surg RN Job Details
- Location: Boise, Idaho (83712) – Idaho nursing jobs
- Setting: Acute Care – Clinical Support Unit (Medical Surgical)
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing Contract
- Start Date: January 12, 2026
- End Date: April 13, 2026
- Duration: 13-week contract
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), weekends as needed, float to other units as required
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1780 - $1910
- Charting System: EpicCare Inpatient EMR
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Idaho or compact state
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience in an acute care or hospital setting
- Ability to float to other clinical units as needed
- Strong communication, clinical, and teamwork skills
Med/Surg RN Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in a Medical Surgical unit
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions using EpicCare EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Educate and support patients and their families throughout the care process
- Float to other units within the healthcare facility as required
- Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment
